The 10th East African Health and Scientific Conference (EAHSC) commenced in Juba, South Sudan.
The 10th East African Health and Scientific Conference (EAHSC) commenced in Juba, South Sudan, under the theme: Addressing health priorities and advancing the East African Region health agenda to meet global health targets. The opening session was graced by H.E. Josephine Lagu, Vice President and Chair of the Service Cluster of the Republic of South Sudan, who served as the Guest Speaker. Kenya was duly represented by the Cabinet Secretary for East African Community, the ASALs and Regional Development, alongside the Principal Secretary for East African Community Affairs, Dr. Caroline Karugu. Also present was Hon. Andrea Ariik Malueth, Deputy Secretary General for Infrastructure, Productive, Social and Political Sectors at the EAC. The session reaffirmed Partner States’ shared commitment to strengthening regional health systems through a coordinated One Health approach.
