CS Beatrice Askul Moe Delivers Emergency Relief in Kalapata, Turkana South

Cabinet Secretary for East African Community Affairs, Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs), and Regional Development, Hon. Beatrice Askul Moe, visited the Kalapata area of Turkana South where she delivered emergency relief support comprising bags of rice, mattresses, blankets, and soap. The relief items will be distributed to families affected by drought in Lochwaa, Lokichar, and Kalapata locations.

During the visit, CS Beatrice Askul Moe assured residents of the government’s commitment to addressing calamities that threaten the livelihoods of communities living in Arid and Semi-Arid Areas across the country. She reaffirmed that the government remains dedicated to ensuring timely interventions to cushion vulnerable households against the effects of drought and other disasters.
