Kenya and Somalia Deepen Ties Through Trade and Regional Integration

Kenya and Somalia’s strong diplomatic ties continue to deepen following Somalia’s admission into the East African Community in 2024. Today in Nairobi, Hon.Beatrice Askul Moe delivered the keynote address at the 2nd Somali-Kenya and Diaspora Trade Week, an event dedicated to strengthening business relations and promoting cross-border trade between our two nations.

The forum brought together key leaders and stakeholders, including Somalia’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Amb. Gamal Mohamed Hassan, Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Jabril Abdulle, and other distinguished guests committed to advancing regional cooperation and economic growth.
