The Principal Secretary for EAC Affairs, Dr. Caroline W. Karugu, participated in the Ministerial Session of the 18th Meeting of the Sectoral Council on Agriculture and Food Security, where she formally reported on the outcomes of the Principal Secretaries’ session.
The session was chaired by the Cabinet Secretary for EAC, ASALs and Regional Development, Hon. Beatrice Askul and convened ministers and senior officials from across the region to advance EAC’s shared priorities in agriculture and food security.
The Kenyan delegation was led by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, accompanied by the Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Mr. Jonathan Mueke, and other senior officials from relevant state departments.
