The Principal Secretary for East African Community Affairs, Dr. Caroline Karugu, today participated in a high-level Joint Meeting of the Pamoja CHAN 2024 and AFCON 2027 Multi-Agency Oversight and Steering Committees. The session brought together senior government officials and key stakeholders to assess Kenya’s preparedness and coordination framework for co-hosting the upcoming continental tournaments.

Also in attendance was PS Interior, Dr. Raymond Omollo; PS Defence, Dr. Patrick Mariru; PS Transport, Mr. Mohamed Daghar; PS Tourism, Mr. John Ololtuaa; PS Sports, Mr. Elijah Mwangi; and President of the Football Kenya Federation, Mr. Hussein Mohammed, alongside the Chair of the CHAN Local Organizing Committee, Mr. Nicholas Musonye.
