Strengthening Kenya–Spain Collaboration on ASAL Development Projects

Following an earlier engagement with H.E. Jaime Alejandro Moreno Bau, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Kenya, Honourable Beatrice Askul Moe held a consultative meeting with Joaquín Barba of TYPSA Consulting Engineers and Architects to discuss the proposed Lower Ewaso Ng’iro South River Multipurpose Dam Development Project. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration with Spanish companies in advancing sustainable infrastructure projects across Kenya’s ASAL regions. Also present were Principal Secretary for ASALs and Regional Development Mr. Kello Harsama, Director of Research and Partnerships Dr. Evans Atera, and Managing Director of Ewaso Ng’iro South Development Authority Mr. Ngala Oloitiptip, underscoring a shared commitment to driving impactful partnerships for regional development
